The TICTS (Hutchinson Port of Dar es Salaam) Finance Management team was supported through the COVID pandemic and beyond:
During the times that COVID-19 was heavily impacting Tanzania, the TICTS Finance Management Team continued working from the office. Lumen’s Certified Coaches supported the employees in managing stress with self and others caused by the implications of COVID at home and in the workspace.
Through individual and team coaching using the approach of Gallup CliftonStrengths® (former StrengthsFinder®) the team members deepened their awareness of self and others. This included recognising triggers of stress and ways to manage stress, with yourself, within the Management Team and with the direct reports.

This guides managers and employees in a pragmatic way towards desired, highly effective behaviours and communication styles. As indicated by one of the country managers “With the insights gained, I improved my people management skills leading to better results.”
