Project Overview
Lumen was engaged by DP World to conduct a comprehensive Solar Feasibility Study, evaluating the potential for solar photovoltaic energy generation across DP World’s facilities. The study assessed the technical, financial and commercial viability of solar installations, providing DP World with a structured business case to guide investment decisions and advance its sustainability and energy cost-reduction objectives.
Scope of Work
The feasibility study encompassed site assessment and solar resource analysis, estimation of energy generation potential, financial modelling and return on investment analysis, review of applicable grid connection and net metering frameworks, and procurement options assessment including EPC contractor selection criteria. Lumen delivered an actionable roadmap for DP World to transition towards on-site renewable energy generation.
